  • Tuition
    $525.00 due when applying

  • Tuition/Application Deadline
    • Must be postmarked by: April 5, 2008
  • Late Fee
    • $100.00 for applications postmarked after April 5, 2008
    • Must be added to Tuition Fee (for a total of $625.00)
  • Refunds/Cancellations
    • All fees, less $100.00 will be refunded if cancellation letter requesting withdrawl from camp is postmarked by June 14, 2008.  Email cancellations also accepted, however, a letter must still be sent with parent/guardian signature.
  • Teacher Recommendations
    • Recommendations ARE NOT required when applying.  A Teacher Recommendation Form for teachers to complete will be sent to students along with their confirmation materials.
  • Liability
    • NYASTA assumes no liability for student's instrument or personal property.  Students are responsible for the care and safety of their instrument and personal property throughout the duration of the institute.  Instrument insurance is suggested.

What Happens After Sending In Your Application?

  1. Completed applications will be processed in the order they are received.

  2. You will receive a confirmation (email or US Mail) regarding the status of your application no later than May 3, 2008.  In order to secure your place at camp please be sure to complete all of the items on the application.

  3. Camp enrollment is limited!  The NYASTA String Institute reserves the right to limit enrollment on certain instruments to ensure proper instrumentation within the performing ensembles. 

  4. Approximately 2 months prior to the start of camp, you will receive a "Required Forms Packet" containing all of the necessary forms your child will need in order to attend camp.  Also included with this mailing will be a Parent/Campers Handbook with everything you need to know before camp begins.

    • Please make sure the forms in the "Required Forms Packet" are returned by the deadlines listed on those forms.  Campers with missing forms will be jeopardizing their place at camp. 


  • Additional Important Dates

    • April 5, 2008 - Registration Deadline (without late fee)

    • May 3, 2008 - No further applications accepted

    • June 14, 2008 - Cancellation/Withdrawal Deadline

    • July 27, 2008 - Registration/Check-In

    • August 2, 2008 - Grand Finale Performance (11:00am)

    • August 2, 2008 - Check-Out (approximately 12:45pm)

  • Grand Finale CD

    • The Grand Finale performance is professionally recorded by Mark Custom Recordings.  A booth will be set up for orders to be placed.  Their website is: www.markcustom.com
