The NYASTA String Institute is open to all string students entering grades 5 through 12. A minimum of one year of orchestra or reading experience is required.
The String Institute is required by the New York State Health Department to obtain a Permit to Operate a Children's Camp certificate issued by the Tompkins County Health Department and is inspected during the camp week.
The institute is available to all boys and girls on a non-discriminatory basis, without regard to race, color, national origin, or physical condition.
