The 2008 NYASTA String Institute is seeking interested individuals for the positions listed below. Honorariums are listed beside each position.
Positions available
Position: Counselor (male or female) $100.00 plus room and board
Description: Responsible for up to 10 campers throughout the week in addition to recreation and orchestra assistant duties.
Requirements: Minimum 18 years old. High School Graduate. Likes to work with children. Musical background helpful but not required.
Position: Teacher (all strings) $300.00 plus room and board
Description: Teach various classes on major instrument in addition to chamber music coaching.
Requirements: Music Certification required
