Trust your professional technician. Each piece or movement must be recorded without editing. (Editing is permissible between movements/pieces but not within them.)
• Applicants must submit CD's that are clearly labeled with name, age, address, phone number, instrument, teacher's name, and works performed. You are strongly urged to make a copy of your submitted tape in case it is lost in transit. YOUR CD WILL NOT BE RETURNED.
Total amount of time as follows:
• Junior Division: 12-15 minutes, including required piece and free choice
• Senior Division: 17-20 minutes, including required piece and free choice
• Recordings or performances exceeding the maximum will be stopped, but entrants will not be penalized. Recordings will be judged blindly by a distinguished panel of musicians who will determine the finalists.
